- Prep and paint the surface with your choice of Alsa's or Dynatone's Basecoats or compatible brands.
- Wet sand the base with 600 grit then 1200 grit, then wash. Mix hardener into clear at 1:4 ratio. Mix only enough for a single coat at a time.
- Dry times depend on hardener used and temperature. Usually 5-15 minutes flash between coats -- means you can spray your next coat over the slightly tacky clear. If the clear is allowed to dry, 1-2 hours, then you would need to wet sand before applying another coat.
- You can wet sand out any imperfections, then follow with a rubbing compound, then finish with a polishing compound.
